Presence / Observation / Reflection

Adam Brooks is an OCAD graduate living and working in Toronto. Working with the male figure Adam conveys ideas of queerness and the contemporary consumption of imagery.

The work presents male figures in an aggressive, physical interaction. The figures collide and support each other expressing the dichotomy of male intimacy, competition and comradery. The visceral quality of the materials further exhibit the passion, sensuality and sexuality of each encounter as well as the dynamic nature of the male form.
